A Bust, plus chest measurement just under bust

B Waist

C Hips about 7cm below waist

D Hips about 23cm below waist

E Back - nape of neck to waist (the nape of the neck is the point on the back of the neck where the base of a collar would sit)

F Neck - around neck measured loosely

G Shoulder point to shoulder point

H Shoulder to bust point

J Bust point to bust point

K Length of skirt from waist - more than one measurement if skirt is asymetric or has points. Please also measure from the point of the shoulder (top of L) to the hem to give me another check on your length.

L Sleeve length from point of shoulder to wrist or to required length

M Around upper arm

N Around lower arm

P Around wrist

Q Crotch measurement if dress requires a leotard - from back waist to front waist

R Overall height without shoes

S Age if under 16

The number of your card, what type of card and which bank or organisation issued it. Also the expiry month and year with issue number if it is a Switch type of card.

Shipping is included for full priced dresses. For reduced price dresses shipping will be charged at cost as extra. (Overseas shipping of a ballroom dress is likely to cost between £30 - £50.) There may be import duties for overseas addresses.

If you would like a dress made to your measurements and colour/style requirements, and fitting is impossible, then I will need the measurements detailed below. I would also need a deposit of £150 to cover materials, with your order. Please phone to discuss details or fax or e-mail me with all the details and a simple sketch. (Cheques payable to Ruth Horrocks please)

Please let me know as soon as possible as 2-3 months notice may be required at busy times of the year.

If you want a dress made to your own design you need to send me a detailed sketch with material suggestions. (Doesn’t have to be artistic, just accurate)
